Joseph "Quinner" Quinn, 52, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Born on November 11, 1969, the son of Richard V. Quinn and the late Esther Callahan Quinn, he graduated from Taconic High School with the class of 1987. Joe went on to attend Berkshire Community College, and late Orlando College in Orlando, FL, where he studies film and video, his true passion.
Joe loved making funny videos with his friends and family. He also enjoyed captioning his photos to make people laugh, as well as most music.
While Quinner was fond of traveling, he loved his home in the Berkshires. His leisure time was often spent boating or snowmobiling on Onota Lake.
For many years, Joe worked as a painter for Berkshire Pro Painters.
Joe is predeceased by his mother, Esther Quinn, a longtime Pittsfield Realtor?1 Berkshire, in fact, presents the annual "Esther Quinn Award" to an outstanding leader in the business community.
He is survived by his father, Richard V. Quinn of Pittsfield, as well as his brother William Windover (Becky), of Tennessee. Additionally, Quinner leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Notice:
Funeral services for Joseph "Quinner" Quinn will be private. Public calling hours will be Friday, March 18, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield MA 01201. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory can be made to the Berkshire Natural Resource Council, the Berkshire Humane Society or the Sonsini Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral home.
