Joseph Lusitani, 87, of Plainville passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at New Britain General Hospital. He was born in Piacenza, Italy on June 17th 1935 and came to the U.S. in June 1956. He worked as a mechanic for White Oak until he retired. He was the beloved husband of Rose Lusitani for 49 years. They raised three sons: Joseph, Paul, and Michael. He was the son of the late Laura (Maserati) Lusitani and Marco Lusitani. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Lusitani. He is survived by his wife, Rose, his three sons, their spouses Lisa and Lori, his grandchildren Alex, Olivia, Logan, Tyler, James, and Ella, his sister Maria Scricca and brother in law Fausto Scricca, and many nieces and nephews . A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Church of St. Patrick, 110 Main St. in Farmington.
