Joseph "Joe" Robert Koehler, 62, of Drexel Hill, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was a son of the late Richard H. and Marilyn M. (Kennedy) Koehler.Born in Drexel Hill on January 7, 1960, he was a carpenter by trade. Earlier, he worked for a hospital supply company for many years also as a custodian of his church.Joe grew up in Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Drexel Hill. For the last 10 years, he was also a member of the Green Church in Middletown. He was a member of the St. Andrews Players, working behind the scenes for their productions. Joe was also an honorary member of the Studebakers Club, attending meetings and events. He enjoyed collecting model cars and trains. The latter was a hobby of his with his brother and father.In addition to many friends, Joe is survived by his brother, Richard W. Koehler of Drexel Hill and sister-in-law, Marie Ervin of Maryland.He is predeceased by his fur buddies, Snooper, Sniffles and Jewel.A visitation will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 10 to 11am in Logan Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral services will follow the visitation in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11am. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Rosyln.
