Joseph Anthony Ingram, 57, went to be with his Lord Jesus on Friday, August 2, 2024 after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 24, 1967, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Judith and Wayne Ingram. Joe moved with his parents and brother to Pottstown, Pennsylvania when he was 9 months old. He graduated from Pottsgrove High School then attended Vo Tech where he studied auto mechanics. He briefly worked at Vanguard Investments, but later returned to auto mechanics, his first love. Joe became a highly skilled mechanic, building race cars and engines. He worked at John Kennedy Ford for 24 years as their lead mechanic and shop foreman. Joe was also a skilled carpet installer and started his own business, Carpets by Joe Ingram. Due to disability and health issues, he retired in 2010 and moved back to Lawton in 2011.
Joe is survived by his mother Judith Ingram-Nazaryk, his nephew, Dylan Ingram, aunts and uncles Fran and Darla Nazaryk, Kevin and Terrie Riccitelli, and Dan and Mary Payton, cousins Debbie Fehring, David Thompson, Kris Riccitelli, Heather Starks, Lindsay Cavin, and Kelsey Payton. He is also survived by numerous cousins and second cousins in Oklahoma and Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Ingram, his brother David Ingram, Grandparents Melvin and Bonnie Lashley, Herschel and Josephine Ingram, and former wife Kimberly Cox.
Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lawton, on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Philip Seeton and Deacon Jim Cerrone officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
The Family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
