Mr. Jon Kaleb Nation, age 22, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024. Kaleb was born Wednesday, July 31, 2002, in Stockbridge, Georgia to Jon Paul and Amy Nation. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Steve Murphy, Michael Rachels Sr., and Jon Nation. Kaleb was a member of Phillipi Baptist Church and owner of Nation's Pool Servicing and Repairs. A hobby of his was tinkering and fixing broken things. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling places, and being outdoors. He loved spontaneous adventures and playing with his dog, Allie. Kaleb is survived by his parents, Jon Paul and Amy Nation; sister, Karly Nation; brother, Kole Nation; fianc?, Jayden Young; grandmothers, Terri Rachels, Lisa Murphy; great-grandmother, Anne Bailey; English cocker spaniel, Allie Mae; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service for Mr. Kaleb Nation will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Phillipi Baptist Church with Pastor Dalton Kuhn officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home and will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
