Jonathan Daniel Crosier, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 22, 2023, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia.
Jon was born November 3, 1946, in Spokane, Washington, to Robert Drysdale Crosier and Perley Louise Pry Crosier. He grew up and attended schools in Prosser, Washington and attended Prosser High School. He also attended Columbia Basin College in Washington, Washington State University, and the University of Idaho. He earned a Masters Degree and had a professional engineering certificate.
On June 7, 1968, married Lynne Ren? Hardcastle in Pullman, Washington. They lived in many places when Jon worked as an electrical engineer for General Electric, then for Kaiser Aluminum for ten years, before moving to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Jon worked as an electrical engineer at the INEL.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and a member of IEEE. He enjoyed the history of Eastern Idaho and compiled records of most of our rural cemeteries.
Jon is survived by his loving wife, Lynne Ren? Crosier of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Ember (Royden) Christensen of Laie, HI; son, Jonathan (Tiffany) Crosier of Richland, WA; sister, Jennie (Brian) Sprouse of Vancouver, WA; five grandchildren, Nathan (Meira), Anne, Seth, Anastasia, Jonathan Alex.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Robert Crosier.
Graveside services will be held on Monday April 17, 2023, at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in Spokane.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude's Children's Hospitals.
