JOHNNY CHANCE CONNELLY, age 39, of Cross Plains, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 28, 2020.

Funeral service will be held ????on Friday, March 6 at 2:00 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas with Dick Schultz officiating and Mike Korzenewski assisting. Burial will follow at Burkett Cemetery in Burkett, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation Thursday, March 5 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas.

Chance was born October 8, 1980 in Abilene, to Chris and Cynthia Bowers Connelly. He was a longtime resident of Coleman County and a graduate of Cross Plains High School and an employee of the US Postal Service.

Preceded in death by a brother, Clint Connelly; grandfathers, Tommie Connelly and John Bowers and grandmother Bobbye Collette.

Chance is survived by a son, Gage Connelly; his twin brother Lance Connelly; his parents Chris and Cynthia Connelly; grandmothers, Avelene Bowers and Charlene Connelly; nieces, Cameron Connelly, ShuannaKay Connelly Simpson, Emma Connelly, Trista Connelly, Guyer Connelly, Teagan Connelly; uncles and aunts, Tom Mac and wife Paulette Connelly, Angie and husband Mike Korzenewski, Tammy Bowers, Rusty and wife Patty Bowers, and Trey Bowers; sister-in-law, Jennifer Schults Connelly; many cousins; and many friends.
