John Frederick Zaehringer, 63, of Charleston, SC, husband of the late Karen Marie Zaehringer, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 20, 2020. His celebration of life service will be at 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Seacoast Church West Ashley, 2049 Savannah Highway. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414.
John was born May 18, 1957 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of Carol Poffenberger Zaehringer and the late William Joseph Zaehringer. He was retired from the Coast Guard and also was a retired Animal Control Officer with the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
Along with his mother, John is survived by his daughter, Samantha Burnette (Jason) and his sister, Sharon Boyd.
