WHELAN, John A. "Jack" 95 years of age. Of Charlestown, July 12, 2022. Beloved husband of 65 years to Ellen V. (McPartland) Whelan. Devoted father of John E. Whelan and wife, Jeanne Marie and the late Sue-Ellen Whelan. Loving Papa to Laura Henry and husband, Joseph, John P. Whelan and wife, Caitlin, Gregory P. Whelan, Matthew Whelan; and his great-granddaughters, Skylar and Peyton. Beloved brother-in-law of Rev. Paul G. McPartland. Beloved brother of the late Emmett Whelan, Mary Sawtelle, and Daniel Whelan. Also several loving nieces and nephews.
