John Jacob Weber died in his home on January 19, 2022, after a period of declining health. He and his wife, Nancy (Daub) Weber, moved from their home in Newtown, CT to Goffstown, NH 12 years ago to be closer to their daughter Cynthia (Weber) Stave of New Boston, NH.
On September 12, 1935, John was born in Pearl River, New York, son of George C. Weber and Elizabeth (Terwilliger) Weber. He shared 64 years of marriage with his wife, Nancy, and had a daughter, Cynthia Ann Weber, and a son Christopher Alan Weber.
For most of his working years, he worked for IBM and enjoyed cooking at home. It gave John and his wife great joy to feed someone?human or animal. He loved adopting stray ani-mals and always had cats and dogs. He retired early and enjoyed RV traveling the United States with his wife.
He is predeceased by his son Christopher, parents George and Elizabeth, and sister Barbara. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Joel Stave, his brother William Weber of Florida, as well as cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
John will be buried next to his son in the Spring in a private graveside service in Newtown Vil-lage Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name can be made to Friends of the Manchester (NH) Animal Shelter or Foster Parrots/The New England Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary.
