John Sealscott

John Sealscott, 77, of Haines City, FL, passed away on March 30th, 2024, in Winter Haven Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1947 in Lima, OH to Leo and Jean McDonald Sealscott. John made his mark after moving to Haines City, FL, about 20 years ago from St. Marys, OH and he dedicated over two decades of his life as a forklift operator at Good Year Tire & Rubber.

In his spare time, John found joy in various hobbies. He loved dismantling computers, nurturing pineapple plants, and collecting aluminum to refurbish and sell. Additionally, he cherished the simple pleasure of driving around to visit his friends.

John is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers, Jim and Jerry Sealscott. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Flora Sealscott; his son, David (Trish) Sealscott of Toledo, OH; daughters, Lisa (Ben) Cordes of Custar, OH, and Julie (Tim) Klaus of North Carolina; along with several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
