John Donald Rolinski, "Rollo" as his friends called him, left us unexpectedly September 16th, 2021. A month and one day after his 60th birthday. He was born August 15, 1961, to Robert "Jack" and Isabelle (Wertz) Rolinski in Gaylord, Michigan. John worked for over 20 years at numerous local tree companies, he also delivered bait for Walt's Crawlers in recent years. He met Lisa Flickinger in 1993 and they came together with each of their previous children and married July 29, 1995, and had children together. He also enjoyed bowling with his friends on a local league for many years. Rollo was a hard worker and very dedicated to any job he had. Every spring you could find him in the Pigeon River Forest looking for morels with his kids, and later his grandkids. John was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Alianna Bonamie; brother-in-law Jack Griswold, and sister-in-law, Sandy Rolinski.
John loved to joke around and frequently flirt with the ladies. He will be remembered as an avid wearer of suspenders and always having the most stylish hair. Anyone who knew John knew what a great guy he was and what a big heart he had. Above all you could see how unconditionally he loved all of his children and grandchildren. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a great father and "pop-pop" when he was home from the road. John is survived by his only wife and lifelong friend, Lisa Rolinski; children, Casey Bonamie, Gerad Rolinski (Kymberlee Evans), Dakota Hosley, Jacklyn Rolinski (Jamie Stardevant), Noelle Rolinski (Dustin Cross), Crystal Flickinger (Brian Simpson), and Taylor Weige; grandchildren, Elly Kuras,Isabelle and Jackson Bonamie, Payton, Sophia and Rosealeigh Weige, Kayden Rolinski, Delaina Rolinski, Karter, Hazzel, and Blaine Stardevant, Arielle Flickinger, Dylan Kurily; and granddog, Panda; siblings, Dan (Maggie) Rolinski, Rob Rolinski, Sue Griswold; many nieces and nephews; several other family members, and the many, many friends and acquaintances from throughout his 60 years.
