John William Perkins
1917—1983
John Perkins was a hard worker. I don't remember him ever not having a job, whether it was as a tool and die maker for Hughes tools, or working in the oil fields.
If I can't say anything else about him, it was that. He always took us just about every single weekend to his parents house in Hull/Daisetta, TX to visit. Sometimes we stayed over night. His brother and sister and her husband loved to sing and play guitar and violin, so the times that we did stay, they would pull out their instruments and play and sing.
