John William Patterson

When John William Patterson was born on March 3, 1830, in Knox, Kentucky, his father, James, was 25 and his mother, Arminta, was 20. He married Margret Ann Golden on March 17, 1856, in Harlan, Kentucky. They had nine children in 19 years. The actual date of his death is yet to be determined but it was some time after 1909. He lived and died in Stinking Creek, Knox County, Kentucky, a part of the Appalachian Mountains.
