Carbondale--John Nichols, July 25, 1935 to May 4, 2020. John, the son of Louis and Cora Peterson Nichols, died of cancer.
John married Carolyn Siecgrist on September 3, 1960.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; three children, Kevin (Lisa), Kerwin (Bev) and Melanie (Brad); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Ruth Towne, all of Carbondale.
A private family graveside will be held at Ridgeway Cemetery, east of Carbondale. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Chapel (for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox), sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
