John P. Krivda, 76, a longtime resident of Cheswick, passed away at home unexpectedly Friday, July 15, 2022. He was born Dec. 27, 1945, in Braddock to his late parents, Paul and Mary Bandik Krivda, and had been a lifelong member of the community. He was a CPA and worked for Satira and Associates. He belonged to Our Lady of Victory, Guardian Angel Parish. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and especially, his granddaughters. Surviving him are his loving wife, Karen Rewnicki Krivda; daughters, Lynn Krivda of Arizona, Diane (David) Calligaro, of Perth, Australia; sisters, Joann George, of South Carolina and Marian Cline, of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren, Annabelle and Elise Calligaro; nieces, Sharon George and Jillian (Jimmie) Reed; and great-nephew, Lincoln. Friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Our Lady of Victory/Guardian Angel Parish. Interment will be private. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
