For 34 years John was the Miller at Bonneyville Mill County Park. He was also a member of SPOOM (Society for the Preservation of Old Mills) and the National Association of Interpretive Naturalists.
Quiet and humble in nature, he was so proud of his children and their spouses. He adored his three precious grandchildren and loved any time he could spend with them. He and his wife enjoyed watching birds in the backyard, visiting with friends and neighbors in the driveway, tinkering and wood working and seeing neighbor kids play in the fairy garden in his yard. He was honored to be able to receive ordination to perform the marriage ceremony of his son and daughter-in-law in Sedona, Arizona. John had a heart of gold and a love for Jesus.
