John Eugene Edmondson "Jack", was born on August 23, 1945, in Memphis, TN to Dr. Paul James Edmondson and Hazel Doris Edmondson. Jack passed away on April 9, 2022, in Harker Heights, TX at the age of 76.
Jack graduated from Permian High School in 1963. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1968 with a BS in Economics and stayed one more year to receive his Masters in Finance. Jack went on to serve in the United States Air Force Reserves being honorably discharged in 1974.
Jack and his twin brother Jim were absolutely inseparable growing up. Even into their later years, the two interacted daily. They spoke the same way, had the same facial expressions and even chuckled just alike.
Jack was an airplane enthusiast and loved to collect and research guns with his grandson Tyler. He was known as a problem solver and was always looking to help others to make their lives easier. Jack had a generous heart and always went overboard with gifts to make sure everyone was well taken care of. He was a penny pincher when it came to himself though and loved to search for bargains. He also managed the family estate and all affairs of the family farm.
Jack's biggest love in life was his family and visiting his family farm in Wynne, AR.
Jack's daughter Jame says "I will miss my Daddy. I will always be his little girl and 'Angel Cake'. I know without a doubt that my Dad is with the angels and my son now. In that, I have hope."
Jack was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony (Tobe) and Blanche Edmondson and Dave and Ms Woody Tyer; parents, Dr Paul and Doris Edmondson; grandson, Tyler Harris; and brother-in-law and best friend, Chris Grissom.
Jack's survivors include his daughter, Jame Sealey and husband John; granddaughter, Christina Cole; twin brother, Jim Edmondson, DDS and wife Rudi; sister, Kay Grissom; and several nieces and nephews.
