John F. Eaton, 76, of Solsberry passed away Saturday November 9, 2024, at his residence.
Born October 17, 1948, in Linton, Indiana the son of Leslie "Bus" Eaton and Wilma R. (Underwood) Eaton.
John served honorably in the U.S. Navy and retired from NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Bloomington AMVETS Post 2000, Worthington VFW Post 7117 and Worthington American Legion Post 106.
Surviving relatives include his daughter, Beth (Greg) Goss, his grandchildren, Emma, Eddie, Rylee, one brother, Jerry (Jo Ellen) Eaton and his companion Pam Eaton.
John was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Eaton and his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday November 22, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Elnora with Greg Eaton officiating.
The family ask that any memorial donations in John's name be given to the Worthington VFW or The Worthington American Legion.
