John was born in Houston, Tx to Durwood and Bertha Busbee on May 6, 1967. John's family moved to Midland, TX in 1969. He married Rose Zugg in 1984. John graduated from Midland High School in 1985 and went on to marry Andrea Anding in August 1986. He worked as a Commercial HVAC at Bosworth for 18 years and 10 years at Service Experts. In his free time John enjoyed coaching his boy's baseball teams, working on trucks, & spending time at the lake with family and friends. He served as President of the Midland Junior Baseball Association for a few years in the early 90's. John's close friends affectionately called him Buzz and his best friend and companion was his pit bull Festus. In his later years the simplest pleasures in life brought John great joy. He lived a modest life and rarely complained about any hardship he was facing. John was a proud organ donor and received the Donor Hero Metal from Southwest Transplant Alliance after his passing. John will be truly missed by his family, children, and grandchildren that lovingly referred to him as Powpa/Papa John. John was preceded in death by his mother Bertha Busbee, his father Durwood Busbee, his brother Jimmy Busbee and his grandson Julian. John is survived by his ex-wife Rose Rodriguez and daughter Nicole Savage; his ex-wife Andrea Brown; four sons, John Busbee Jr. and wife Brooke, Joshua Busbee and wife Tiffany, Justin Busbee and Jacob Busbee; brother Bill Busbee; sister Sandy Busbee and her two daughters Malissa and Marsha; and 9 grandchildren, Teagan, Jayden, Kannon, Annabelle, Jetson, Addalynne, Chandler, Elijah & Josiah.
