John Edwin Allen, 94 of Tampa Florida, passed away January 14, 2021. He was born March 1926 in New York City, New York. After serving in the US Navy during WW II, John graduated from Manhattan College with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. He was married to Mary Ross Allen September 4, 1948. John was a retired General Contractor and owner of J. Allen Inc.. He is survived by his sister Mary Sochet of New York City, Daughter Mary Margret McGraw, Sons, Ross P. Allen, John M. Allen and M. Dan Allen, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held on January 22nd at 11:00am EST, and an Funeral Service on January 27th at 1 pm at Serenity Funeral Home and Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo FL.
