ADAM - John Dean Adam, age 86, of Lilburn, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. John served in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis and retired from Quad-City Food Service, Inc. after 30 years of service. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, gardening, traveling by RV and going to Jeep Jamborees. Born in Keota, IA, John graduated from Washington High School in Washington, IA and attended Webster City Junior College in Webster City, IA. John and Cheryl retired to Georgia in 1999 to be close to family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Ursula Besser Adam and brothers, Tom and Skip Adam. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Cheryl Irene (Starr) Adam, daughter, Tammie A. Zeigler, son, Michael Adam and grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
