Joel L. Thompson, age 56 of Akron, OH passed away suddenly on Monday, August 23, 2021. He was born on November 12, 1964 in Barberton, OH to the late James and Jeane (Yoak) Thompson. Joel is survived by his two sons, one brother, and three sisters. There are no calling hours and a private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Mark R.
