Joe Louis Senegal was born on June 25, 1945 in Spring, Texas, to parents Naomi Bolden and Louis Senegal. Joe attended school in the Spring ISD and completed his education in Houston, Texas. Joe was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found joy in simple pleasures such as spending time with family and friends, fishing, the outdoors, and playing dominoes. He also loved watching TV. Joe dedicated 29 years of service to the Spring ISD before retiring in 2011.
Joe is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Ella Senegal; his loving children, Anthony Pruitt (Veronica), Rodney Pruitt (Susan), Joe Senegal Jr. (Tyett), and Patricia Davis (Reginald); and his cherished grandchildren, Jasmine Davis (William), Anthony Pruitt, Elizabeth Pruitt, Sarah Pruitt, Brandi Pruitt, Christian Senegal, Brelyn Senegal, Kayden Senegal, Jaeden Perkins, Jaeren Perkins, Jalee Roberts, Bryan Davis, and Ryan Davis. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, J'Thayn Davis and Va'laya Johnson. He is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Young and Edward Ray Williams; as well as his most special friend, Thomas "TD" Davis; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Service will be Saturday, December 28, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Community Church of Spring 426 Booker St.
