Joe Ezekiel Garcia

My grandpa was a hard-working immigrant born in the Municipality of Zaragoza, State of Coahuila, Mexico which is close to the US border. According to the ten-year census of 1900 he moved to Texas and was living with an uncle or older brother in Texas. By 1914 he owned a business in Anadarko, Oklahoma. When he died he had a 2nd hand store and a two-story hotel on Main street in downtown Anadarko.

Married to Mary Catherine Garcia, both buried in the Carnegie Cemetary near Anadarko, Oklahoma.
