JoAnn Montigney, 61, formerly of Edwardsville, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Memory Center of The Gardens of Easton.
Born May 31, 1961, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Roberta and Raymond Bardell Searfoss. She was formerly employed by Fresenius Kidney Care as a dialysis technician in Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sandra Kitchen; and Irene Czachur.
JoAnn is survived by her loving husband, Arthur, of 45 years; son, Arthur, California; daughter, Sheila (James), Kingston; granddaughter, Vanessa; sisters, Roberta Tucker (Ronald), Edwardsville; Beverly Nagle (Dan), Thornhurst; and Joy Godleski (Mark), Wilkes-Barre.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hottenstein, Dr. Finney, The Gardens of Easton, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre and Geisinger Life for their wonderful care.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from Williams-Hagen Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev Ronald Cease officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
