Joan Lou Wagner, 92, of Gibsonton, FL, passed away Thursday, April 18. 2024. A native of Wheeling, WV, she had resided in Brandon most of her lifetime. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; was a Hillsborough High School and University of Tampa graduate; a former Cub Scout Leader; a member of Ascribed Rosminians and Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was preceded in death by her husband, George and son, Paul and is survived by her sons, Bruce and Gary Wagner; daughters, Theresa Wagner and Amy Wagner; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a niece and nephew. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 26, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Seffner, with the family receiving friends one hour prior. Interment will be at 1:30 P.M. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
