Joan Monica Cackowski, a lifelong resident of Collingswood, NJ passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022, while at home in the arms of her loving younger sister Judith.

Joan was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 5, 1952 to Joseph & Genevieve Cackowski. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Joan attended school in the Collingswood, NJ school district and later attended both the Bancroft School and the Friedman School.

Joan is survived by her sister Judith, who was also her long-term caregiver in the later years of her life, as well as two younger brothers, John and James.

Joan's life always revolved around time at home with her family, as well as trips to the Jersey shore. A highlight of her life was a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Poland, to visit relatives there. She also enjoyed following her favorite TV shows, and taking long walks in the neighborhood with her father and sister.

A viewing will be held at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, Collings Ave., Collingswood, NJ, on 12-28-22, 1:00 - 3:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Collingswood on 12-29-22, 12:00, to be preceded by a viewing at the church from 11:00 to 12:00. Interment will immediately follow at New Saint Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr NJ.
