Durso, Joan A. Octoober 12, 1940 to July 18, 2020. Joan Passed away comfortably at home with her family after a 10-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a beautician, waitress in Family Restaurant, interior designer and seamstress. She enjoyed swimming, bowling, Golf and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was born in Buffalo, New York, graduated from Depew High School in 1957, beautician School 1958 and moved to Stonecrest, Florida in 2002 and The Villages in 2012. Preceded in death by parents Joe and Julie Kovach. Survived by husband of 60 years, Carmen R. Durso; sons, Carmen J (Lynn) and Michael; sisters Karen Wilkinson and Eileen Leo; grandchildren, Megan (John) Nicholas, Melissa and Kimberly; great-grandchildren Vince and Ben. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. A mass at Our Lady of Pompeii Church and interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lancaster, New York will be held at a later date.
