Jimmy Wayne Robertson, 66, lifelong resident of Ripley, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022, at his residence following a brief illness.
Services honoring the life of Mr. Robertson will be at 1PM Sunday, December 4 in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating.
Mr. Robertson was born on March 8, 1956 to the late Jimmie and Jean Renfrow Robertson and was a member of Chapman Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Falkner High School and furthered his education at Northeast Mississippi Community College. He later founded his business, Robertson Logging and Trucking Company, and was a faithful businessman until retirement in 2018.
Vintage cars and car shows, fishing, his passion for logging, old rock and roll music, and his beloved grandchildren were a few of the things Mr. Robertson enjoyed most.
Mr. Robertson will be missed by all that got the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
Visitation will be from 5PM until 8PM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Ripley Funeral Home.
Those left to cherish memories include his devoted wife, Pat Robertson, a daughter, Natalie Robertson Downs (Levi), a son, Nathan Robertson (Lynsey,) a stepson, Billy Stevens, and four grandchildren, Luke and Lilly Downs, Noah Robertson, and Laila Stevens.
