Jimmy Monroe Post, age 89, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Dan Parker and Bryan Black officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. A lifelong resident of Marietta, Mr. Post owned and operated Jimmy's Pat Mell Barber Shop since 1967. He was a member of Mt. Paran North Church of God, and enjoyed playing golf and spending quality time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Post, 2 sons, Jimmy Mark Post and Steven John Post, a great grandson, Jaxson Post, and partner, Barbara Oliver. Survivors include: Son, Gary Post; Daughter, Deborah (Michael) Post Arnold; Brother, Raymond Post; 2 Sisters, Virginia Nelson and Nadine Bruce; 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
