Jimmie Wade Lauderdale, 86, resident of Booneville, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
A Graveside Service honoring the life of Mr. Lauderdale will be at 3PM Friday, November 4, 2022 at Gaston Cemetery with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating.
Mr. Lauderdale was born on September 21, 1936, the son of the late John Henry Lauderdale and Mamie Lauderdale-Garner and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
A hard worker, Mr. Lauderdale enjoyed all animals such as dogs, chickens and cows but he especially enjoyed tending to his horses. He was a simple man but continued to stay busy by tinkering and exploring the outdoors.
His family will miss him dearly.
Those left to cherish memories include his wife, Ouida Lauderdale, a daughter Amy Lauderdale, a son, Ronald Lauderdale, two granddaughters, Desiree Haugh and Jana Blythe (Derrick), three great granddaughters, Krysten Lindsey, Victoria Lloyd, Hatley Lauderdale, three great grandsons, Colby Lindsey, Brent Lauderdale (Brandi) and Kylen Lauderdale, all of Booneville.
The American Flag at The Ripley Funeral Home entrance honors Mr. Lauderdale and all Veterans for their service to our country... GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lauderdale is preceded in death by a daughter, Lana Lauderdale.
