LUBBOCK — Jessie L. Perez, 85, of Lubbock died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Templo de Alabanza in Amarillo with the Rev. Ezequiel Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
Mr. Perez was born Oct. 15, 1927, in Rhome to Placido and Efren Perez. He married Teresa Ramos on Nov. 7, 1948.
Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Efren Perez, Lucy Liscano, Josie Pena and Mary Castillo, all of Lubbock, Frances Muniz of Amarillo and Liz Luna of The Colony; two sons, Jesse Perez of Vacaville, Calif., and Danny Perez of Amarillo; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
