Jesse Rojas, 94, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 17, 2022. He was born on April 5, 1927, in Beaumont to Luis and Guadalupe (Gonzalez) Rojas. Mr. Rojas, a United States Navy veteran, served in World War II. He retired as a fitter-welder.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-seven years, Rose Rojas; children, Eva Storms and her husband, Pat; Frank Rojas and his wife, Charmaine; Marge Marchetti and her husband, Andy; Jesse Rojas and his wife, Olivia; and Jayne Cano and her husband, Ben; eighteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Andy Storms; great-grandson, Bronc Rojas; brothers, Luis Rojas, Frank Rojas, Charlie Rojas, and Rocky Rojas; and sister, Lucy Flores.
A Rosary for Mr. Rojas will be recited at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont, followed by a gathering of family and friends until 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with his interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
