Jesse Lee Oliver Sr, 78, of Odessa, passed away on August 15, 2023 in Lubbock, Tx.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 on September 1, 2023 at Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory.
Jesse Lee Oliver Sr. was born in Carthage, Texas to A.D. and Mattie Oliver on May 3, 1945. He attended school in Carthage and Andrews, Texas. He married Annie Louise King on February 16, 1966 in Andrews Texas. He worked as a tire repairman and shop foreman for General Tire and Bridgestone/Firestone for 45 years. Retired in March 2013.
Jesse Lee Oliver Sr. is preceded in death by his parents A.D. and Mattie Oliver, brother Willie Oliver, sister Dorothy Oliver.
He is survived by his wife Annie Louise Oliver, and children Valerie Oliver King, Jesse Oliver Jr, Stepheny Oliver and Sara Clipper (Taylor) of Cleburne, Tx, siblings Willie Mae McDonald of Garland, Tx, Betty Anderson (Lorenzo) of Garland, Tx, Clyde Oliver (Idell) of Odessa, Tx, Margret Oliver of Andrews, Tx, Blondale Oliver of Andrews, Tx, Raymond Oliver (Michelle) of Andrews, Tx, Ruby Grant (Larry) of Midland, Tx, Chris Oliver of Andrews, Tx and Crissy Oliver of San Antonio, Tx, grandchildren Jesse A. Oliver, Rosalee Arredondo, Joshua Hudson, Joseph Terry, Jeremie Caldwell, Tarence Caldwell, Jhetta Oliver, Brantley Clipper and Bryliegh Clipper and 13 great grandchildren.
