Jerry G. Rosenborough, 84, passed away in his sleep on the morning of April 23, 2020 at his home in The Villages, Florida. Jerry's heart was broken after losing his bride of almost 65 years, Elizabeth "Tammy" Rosenborough just 10 days prior. He was born on November 18, 1935 and raised in Mount Union, Pennsylvania. Jerry was the son of the late J. Clair Rosenborough and Mary M. Rosenborough (Gabert). He was survived by 4 loving children, Terry (Jacquie); Jim (Christine); John (Gina); and Jennifer (Eric Reece), as well as 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Jerry and Tammy instantly knew they were meant to be together the minute they locked eyes on each other as teenagers and wed soon after that in Vermont when Jerry was serving in the U.S. Army. Jerry went on to graduate from Penn State University and moved his family to Maryland where they lived the majority of their lives as he worked as an electrical engineer at Westinghouse. Jerry spent every spare minute he had with his family that he loved unconditionally and traveled with them extensively whenever possible. Jerry and Tammy had the opportunity to retire early and moved to The Villages in 2003 where Jerry enjoyed golfing and living the golden years with family and friends. Jerry was an honest, faithful son of God, a strong and loving provider for his family, and a proud, dedicated U.S. Veteran. He will be missed more than anybody knows and will continue to be a powerful influence in many lives.
Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake, FL.
