Jerry F. Higgins, age 87, formerly of Fridley and Lone Lake (Aitkin), passed away on October 9, 2024 in Anoka, MN. He was preceded in death by infant son, Steven; sons-in-law, Terry Mikkelson and David Binczik; 8 siblings. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Lynn Mikkelson, Joanie Binczik, Patrick (Angie) Higgins, Carol (Bill Raeker), and Scott (Lynn) Higgins; grandchildren, Matthew Mikkelson, Kristen Mikkelson, Jason (Sarah) Binczik, Elizabeth (Matthew Barber) Binczik, Cory Bartlett, Tony (Erin) Raeker, Katie Raeker, Jessica Higgins, Jennifer Higgins-Dean (Jonathan), and Rebecca Higgins; great-grandchildren, Miai Mikkelson, Cade Mikkelson, and baby Raeker to come. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen's Catholic Church (525 Jackson St., Anoka, MN) on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Private interment Gethsemane Cemetery.
