Fidler Frame Funeral Home
84, of Charleston passed away October 2, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
He was born and raised on Campbells Creek, attended Dupont High School, was a member of Keystone Apostolic Church and was a general contractor. Some of his work included concrete, stone, brick and blockwork. Jerry was always willing to help anyone in need without expecting anything in return. Jerry was a special guy, was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
Preceding him in death were his companion of 11 years, Nancy Jo Lawrence; parents, William and Elizabeth Henderson Ellis; brothers, Billy, Bobby and Donald Ellis and sister, Ruth Hess.
Surviving are his sisters, Peggy Harmon of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Connie Means (Raymond) of Charleston and Deborah Collins (Don) of Augusta, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle with Matthew Derreberry officiating. Interment will follow in Cline Hollow Cemetery, Campbells Creek. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Monday.
