Help us celebrate Jereb! Please share your stories and photos, and invite others who remember Jereb.
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jereb Shane Johnson (Jeb), age 37 on March 26, 2024. Jeb lost his battle with drug addiction, a struggle he fought for many years. Born on December 10, 1986 in Pensacola Fl, he was a beloved son, brother, and friend.
Jeb was known for his ability to "defy gravity" on his skateboard and his unlimited creativity when he skated. He attended Gulf Breeze High School and Jacksonville Jr. College. Jeb will always be remembered for his joy, contagious laughter, and his sense of humor.
Jeb is survived by his parents Ronald W. Johnson and B.J. Johnson; Susan Sproul-Johnson and James O. Sproul; his brother, Ronald W. Johnson, Jr.; his sister-n-law Carly Johnson; his two nephews Liam Johnson and Bode Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service with his family and close friends will be held on July 6, 2024 in Crestview, FL. Please go to the following link to leave a message (link inserted). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jeb's name to the National Institute on Drug Abuse or a local rehabilitation center of your choice. These contributions will honor Jeb's memory by supporting efforts to combat addiction and help others who are facing similar battles.
