Jennifer M. Caron of Colchester, 37, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord May 24, 2022, surrounded by her family.Jennifer loved and was loved. Her loss is felt beyond comprehension.She will be missed by those she leaves behind, parents Steven and Diane (Keeney) Caron; brother Nathan Caron; maternal grandmother Lorraine Keeney; loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; her dog Herman.Words cannot express how grateful we are for all the love and care than was given to her, and us, during her life, especially during this most difficult time. Jennifer received a double-lung transplant 15 years ago, and her gratitude for that selfless, anonymous act was immeasurable. It gave her, and us, an additional 15 years. After receiving her "second wind," Jennifer lived deliberately and as if tomorrow was not guaranteed. We would like to thank Connecticut Hospice and the medical professionals who cared for her throughout her life; it truly takes a village.Calling hours will be on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at St. Andrew Church, 128 Norwich Ave., Colchester, immediately followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the new St. Andrew Cemetery, Gillett Lane, Colchester, with a celebration of life following. Per Jenn's request, please wear blue (her favorite color) and/or something sparkly. (We all need more sparkle in our lives).In lieu of flowers, Jenn requested donations be made to the CT Humane Society, Newington, or have an adventure you have always wanted to experience. There is no time like the present.Guillot Funeral Home of Taftville is in charge of arrangements.
