Jeffrey "Jeff" Wayne Collins, 55, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. He was born in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Betty Jane West Collins and the late Alvin Eugene Collins. Jeff earned his BA at Marshall University and earned a Master's Degree in Education from USC. He taught mathematics in Lake City Schools and Darlington High School. He was also an adjunct Professor with Limestone, FDTC and Francis Marion University. Jeff loved his Lord and was of the Baptist faith. He loved woodworking, working with his hands and landscaping in his yard at home. Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his fianc?e, April Denise Williams; two sons, Luke Wesley Collins and Kash-Warren Zane Collins; two daughters, Taylor Mackenzie Collins and Madison Prosser; two brothers, James (Iyang Kim) Collins and Steve Collins; a sister, Rebecca Collins-Shorrosh; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of special family, friends and co-workers. www.cainfuneralhome.com.
