Jeffrey Alan Corbett, 56, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening , November 3, 2021. The relatives and friends of Jeffrey Alan Corbett are invited to his Funeral Service 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the funeral home.
Jeffrey was born November 24, 1964 in Flushing, NY, a son of Frances Rollins Corbett and the late Donald Ralph Corbett, Jr.He attended Clemson University where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He remained an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers Football Team and rarely missed watching a game.
After college Jeff relocated to Boston, MA and spent several years in the Technology Industry with Digital Corporation. Upon returning to Charleston, Jeff began his career in the Film Industry. He worked for many years in the Transportation Department on numerous movies and TV shows filmed in the Southeast.
Jeff grew up on James Island where he enjoyed lifelong hobbies of boating, fishing and camping with family and friends. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, stepdad and friend to many. Jeff especially loved spending time as "Diddy" to his three grandchildren: Reid, Leah and Ryland. He also was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Gail Martin Corbett of Charleston; four brothers: Donald Corbett (Lee), Robert Corbett (Kim), Jerald Corbett (Sarah) and Stephen Corbett (Angela); and two step-sons, Trey Davis (Christine) and Jeffrey Davis .
