Jeffery Alan Purdue, 60 of Seymour passed away at home on Saturday, June 15, 2024. He was born April 15, 1964 in Seymour, Indiana to John and Cheryl K. Lauster Purdue. He attended Seymour Schools. Jeff had worked at Skaggs Builders. He was very good at repairing small engines, using his "green thumb" to take care of plants and was an incredibly gifted artist.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, John Purdue, Jr. and his step-siblings Tony Purdue and Cindy Purdue. Surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Cheryl Watson, his brothers, Chris Purdue and Mike Purdue, his sister, Robin Storey, his children, Melanie Balazar, Sarah Brittain and Luke Newkirk and his longtime companion and caregiver, Kimberly Frank.
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, IN 47274.
