RYE, NH - Jeannine A. (Tremblay) Goyette, age 81, died peacefully on October 5, 2024, surrounded by her family in Rye, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald R.J. Goyette.
She was born on September 2, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Madeline E. (Marquis) and Maurice R. Tremblay. She was raised and educated in Manchester, NH. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an executive assistant at Raytheon for over 30 years.
Jeannine was an avid lover of music and dancing, especially to 50's rock and Elvis. She enjoyed watching movies, especially Hallmark. She loved fashion, shopping and always wore beautiful outfits.
In her earlier years she knitted, crocheted and made jewelry. She was creative and enjoyed making and gifting her homemade jewelry. She had an infectious laugh and great smile that made everyone around her fall in love with her. She also loved the color purple, and in her honor, the family asks to wear something purple to remember and honor Jeannine.
Jeannine is survived by her children, Kevin Goyette, Jim Goyette and his wife, Kate and Janet Shivell and her husband, JJ; her eight grandchildren, Amanda, Alycia, Emma, Shelby, Joe, Gary, Heather and Toni; her three great-grandchildren; her sisters, Diane Dore and Denise Farrell; her sister-in-laws, Pauline Bover and Gail Halligan; her brother-in-law, Ray Goyette; as well as many other family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jeannine's Life Celebration on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 4 until 7 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial to follow in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham, NH.
