Farinella, Jeannie F. ALBANY Jeannie F. Farinella, 79, the beloved wife of 63 years of Nicholas Farinella, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Albany Medical Center with her family by her side. Born on June 25, 1942, in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma Smith. Jeannie was a devoted wife and homemaker, which she loved to do, and it came naturally to her. Jeannie and Nick loved spending time together, no matter where they were, and one of her greatest treasures was spending time with her family and loved ones. She enjoyed dancing with her friends at DeeDee's and visiting the casinos. Wherever Jeannie went she made a lasting impression with her infectious smile. She is survived by her son, Mark (Cara) Farinella; daughters, Tamara (Ricky Beckman) Farinella, Dawn (Walter) Falzo, and Kimberly (Tom Falzo) Farinella; granddaughter, Jennifer Ring; grandson, Nicholas Nelson; several nieces and nephews whom she loved, and who loved her dearly; and her two half-brothers. In addition to her parents, Jeannie was predeceased by her sisters, Alverda, Mable, and Doris; and her brother, Clarence Smith. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, June 13, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment with a graveside prayer service will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3rd Avenue Extension, Rensselaer.
