Jeanne Osterland Jeanne Osterland died peacefully in her Santa Rosa home on May 17, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1946, in Oakland, California, and graduated from UC Davis in 1968. Following brief stints as a teacher and flight attendant, she began work at Pacific Bell in San Francisco in 1970. She retired after 24 years and moved full-time to her second home at The Sea Ranch in 1994. While living on the coast she developed a passion for scuba diving. She logged more than 1,200 scuba dives and visited diving locations around the globe. Jeanne moved to Santa Rosa in 2016 and until her final year was an avid swimmer, runner and tennis player. She is survived by her brother Joe (Karen), numerous nephews and nieces and her husband, Bill. Jeanne and Bill would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on May 28. A celebration of her life will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on June 8 at the Wild Oak Saddle Club, 550 White Oak Dr., Santa Rosa.
