Jeanne Elizabeth Harbaugh , 84 Feb 26, 1935 - Oct 16, 2019 Jeanne Elizabeth Harbaugh, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at Doey's House on Wednesday, October 16,2019. Born February 26, 1935 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Catherine E. (French) Myers. She was a 1953 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was very proud of and enjoyed working for FEMA. Jeanne was a loving mother first, a wonderful homemaker, and an excellent manager for the family farm. She was a member of Salem Reformed Church where she played the piano and sang in the choir. As a resident at Fahrney-Keedy Home, she volunteered serving on committees representing the residents. The family would like to send a special thank you to Fahrney-Keedy and Doey's House for their special care and attention given to Jeanne.
She was preceded by her former husband Richard W. Harbaugh, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Wade and husband Chuck, and Roberta Maas and husband, Don; one son, Richard Harbaugh, Jr. and wife Shelly; one sister, Roberta "Bobbie" Burns; two brothers, Robert "Skip" Myers, Jr., and John Myers; six grandchildren, Charles Wade, Renee Wade, Nicholas Maas, Joseph Maas, Jared Davis, and Michaela Schildtknecht; and 16 great grandchildren, Nicole, Jasmine, Richard, Austin, Gavin, Michael, Makayla, Bradon, Caitlin, Ellie, Addie, Ian, Kristyn, Sidney, Wyatt, and Avery. The Memorial Service will be held 11am on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Salem Reformed Church, 13182 Salem Church Road, Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Eric Cox will officiate. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Salem Reformed Church. Memorial donations may be made to Capital Campaign Fund of Memory Care Center or Adult Day Care Center at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village, 8507 Mapleville Road, Boonsboro, MD 21713; or to Doey's House, 11370 Caring Pathway Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
