Jean (Eastman) Wood, lifelong resident of Weare NH, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, at the precious age of 97, a blessing to all of her family & those that had the privilege of knowing her
Born in Weare NH on November 17, 1923, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Eastman and Ruby Blanche Eastman, also lifelong residents of Weare
A Graduate of Weare High School and Moore General Hospital School of Nursing. She was in the Army Cadet Nurse Corps, 1942-1945. She proudly worked as a Registered Nurse for 40 years, doing Private Duty in the community and Geriatrics in the Hillsborough County Nursing Home until retirement in 1985.
Long term member of the Wyoming Grange and American Legion Auxiliary in Weare.
She belonged to the NRA, enjoying hunting as well as caring for her family and farm in Weare. She enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting,doing puzzles and playing card games, dice & board games with her family
Predeceased 1985, by her husband, love of her life of 42 years,Wallace "Wally" Wood of Weare.

13 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandsons, many nieces & nephews, so many extended family & dear friends
