Jean Clifton Burrows went to her heavenly home on Monday, August 30, 2021. Jean was born at home on May 28, 1935 in Roby, Texas.
Jean was a well loved Mom, Granny, Gee and friend to so many!
Jean worked as a Nurse for Dr. Jones for many years in Ft Stockton, TX. She later owned Sham's Liquor Store, where she enjoyed visiting and meeting new people daily.
She enjoyed her time as a pink lady at the Ft Stockton hospital.
Jean loved her family, shopping and when the boys were younger she even took Karate classes! She also loved to play Bingo.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband Bill Burrows and her companion John Dunn, whom she met later in life, sisters Rose Knight, Charlene Parker, Betty Mae Klann and a brother CJ Clifton.
Jean is survived by her son Mike Young and wife, Trisha , Son Ricky Young and wife, Elsa, son Tony Young and wife Carla, Grandchildren; Heather Jones and husband Jason, Jhonalou Young, James Holzwarth Young, Tyler Young and wife Dr. Rachelle Young, Wes Young and wife Julie, Brett Young and wife Haley, Reagan Young, Curtis Young and wife Heather, Genna Young, Shannon McCollum and husband Kenny, LeShay Germany and husband Nick, many loved great- grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, two brothers Tommy Clifton and Billy Wayne Clifton and wife Georgia, sister-in -law Sandy Clifton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the many who helped with her care. A special thanks to her granddaughter's Genna and Reagan who came and took care of their Granny/Gee.
A graveside memorial will be scheduled at a time to be announced later at the Ft Stockton cemetery, Ft Stockton, TX.
