JB Harris, 78, of Kirbyville passed away Saturday July, 25, 2020. He was born in Evadale, Texas on October 23, 1941 to the late Frank "Lucky" Harris and Hallie Stephens Harris. JB was true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved his family and spending time with them doing the things that he loved. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Hooks-Bigford Harris of Kirbyville; sons, Rex Harris of Beaumont, Roy "Denny" King of Spurger; daughters, Saundra Gonzales of Buna, Tammy Haefs of Buna; grandchildren, Jessica Cordell of Lumberton, Keaton King of Fred, Lelanh Harris of Beaumont; great - granddaughter, London Cordell of Lumberton; siblings ,Louise Jones of Nederland, Katie Stimits of Buna, Billie and Douglas Jones of Buna, Shirley and Ted Cappen of Fred, Pauline Harris of Buna, Iva Harris of China, Doug and Janis Harris of Evadale; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. JB will be dearly missed!
JB is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don Harris; brothers-in-law, Jerry Jones Sr. and Elton Ray Stimits; and a nephew, Joey Jones. Serving as pallbearers will be Clinton Stimits, Wade Stimits, Jerry Jones II, Jeff Jones, Keaton King, and Thomas Baumann.Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10AM at Farmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna. A visitation will be held Thursday night from 5-7 PM.
